Mac Dual Conversion Exhaust Bolt On

I'm thinking about getting this setup for my stang mostly for looks and some sound. Does anyone know if you can switch the mufflers that come with it to improve sound/performance in any way like the flow 10's or 44's. thanks

of course you can. but this does bolt up to the stock y pipe so it is not a true dual setup. I would recommended going the true dual route if you are going for looks and sound. call around to some local shops and get some quotes. my setup was only $400. cut the cats, divorced flowmaster 40 duals and i love it.

from my experience of having both, with my divorced dual setup I lost some low end torque but made up for it in the top end vs having an h pipe where i noticed a quicker pick up. also the loudness was reduced by the h pipe because there was more piping for the exhaust to flow through but, personally I like my divorced setup because I'm young and it makes my day to wake up my neighbors early in the morning lol

I have the mac dual. Sound only comes in around 1000-1500 rpm and over 3000. Looking back I would have definetly of rather got true dual. But for $300 it does its job. Plus u can install it yourself.

That's the sound I'm goin' for, along with most other V6 owners haha. Is that with a 2 1/2 inch h-pipe?
