Yeah, 1/8th my bad hahaha

I think you should be pushing 80 or 90+ In 1/4th mile. I'm pretty sure I was pushing close to 70 in the 1/8th but I'm not too sure I have to find the slips

I think we're kinda ignooring his original question though, it could be an actual engine problem and not the tires, did you install everything your self?

He installs gears which help a lot on low end, 60' turns into 2.4, he's spinning, either tires and/or driving problems, most likely both, needs to relearn how to drive.

Need to learn to launch. The engine will not cause you to spin off the line. It's doesn't have enough torque

That's just going to make e the shift harder and more crisp. More likely to spin on the shift to second. What they are trying to say is you have to relearn how to launch in a way that doesn't spin the tires...

If he's already spinning tires at 1-1.5k he doesn't need to launch higher......don't run the RPM s up at all...and don't slam onto the gas....ease on it...do it quickly...but ease on it

It's probably the gears then. Relearn to launch with your new setup and don't floor it. You'll just spin way to much. David's right, just learn. Practice makes..... Emmmm good.
