So I recently installed a BBK 65mm throttle body on my 2004 3.9L v6 mustang
. Since then when I start the car it will idle at 1500-2000 rpm for a good 5 or so minutes before dropping to the 1000-1200 range which I think is still a bit high. I've adjusted the idle control screw far enough out to where the throttle body doesn't even touch it when it is fully closed anymore and it still is idling high. I have a tuner and have tuned the car and it now idles fine when driving or in neutral I just can't get the idle when I'm in park to come down!
Other mods are a BBK cold air intake
Flow master American thunder exhaust
New spark plugs, spark plug wires, and coil pack
I think that's all but it's hard to remember sometimes what all I've done
