CAI

What would be the best choice as far as a cold air intake for an auto 2003 mustang?

Just get a pipe and filter lol, I prefer warm air to cold air, so you don't worry about puddles and whatnot

Unless you run the pipe to the bottom of bumper puddles won't hurt anything, the filter stops as soon as it goes through the hole in fender on most kits

Get the American Muscle one... I think its like 70 bucks or something.. no need to waste like 200 bucks on a CAI

These guys have all pointed you in the right direction. There's a ton of different options out there, the SR Performance CAI will definitely do the trick for you!

This SR Performance Cold Air Intake kit completely replaces the stock factory air box and restrictive paper filter element in your 1999-2004 3.8 & 3.9 V6 Mustang with a high flow filter assembly for a noticeable increase in horsepower and throttle response while filtering out destructive power robbing dust particles. This CAI pulls cooler denser air from inside the inner fender well to make more power that you can feel.

Please let me know if you have any questions or need some assistance in the near future! Our Mustang Experts are here Monday-Friday from 9AM-9PM EST and Saturdays from 9AM-5:30PM EST. If you want to hit them up, their number is 866.727.1266.
