Yeah, you won't gain much. I'm not against it, but I'd say you may want to get some smaller mods first before getting your tuner. I thought AM posted dyno results of what the tune would net you?
Either way I'd suggest waiting until you're ready to drop some gears in and get your tuner at the same time.

Congratulations on the Job, that's really exciting!

We can definitely help you out with a Custom tuner, loaded with Bama Performance Custom tunes! Let me tell you a little bit about how we write our tunes. For every Bama Tune we ask you 19 questions about your specific Mustang, including your unique mods and style of driving. This info helps us write custom tunes from the ground-up for your Mustang's mods that will give you the most horsepower that we can safely deliver. We're also constantly developing our tunes! Between our 14 different Project Mustangs and tons of street/track and dyno testing (on our in-house Dynojet 224xLC), we're looking for any minor tweaks to be made that can benefit you guys. We're also part of Fords Technology Transfer Program & Work very closely with Ford to insure that all of our tunes are perfect!

We also offer free tunes for life. Any time you add a modification to your vehicle and need a re tune, just give the Bama team a call and they'll gladly hook you up! Our Bama Performance tuning specialists are here in the building Monday-Friday from 9AM-5:30PM EST and Saturday 9AM-5:30PM EST. You can hit them up directly at 888.226.9764 and they'll get you squared away!

I hope this helps. Please let me know if you have any questions or need some assistance in the near future!

-Dan

Bama doesn't have their own device, the tunes they write they upload to SCT or Diablosport devices, I would stick with SCT as I've read the new Diablosport intune device has some issues and Diablosport 's customer service is crap, most tuners in my area use SCT software and if you plan on any mods in the future ( like a sc) call around shops in your area and see what they use , it will save you money later

The max you can gain(in AM book) is 30 hp and 30 tq without a cam and port. That might be results for a v-8.
