Those 2.3's are pretty gutless, My grandpa has one in his ranger and it's a pain just to get it out of his driveway. It's got a 5sp with 3.73's.
a 93 2.3 only has 105, maybe as an economy car. The V6's get pretty good mpg stock, I averaged 28 on a trip to Sacramento.

Is it naturally aspirated or turbo? The turbo is faster than the stock 5.0.

No turbo offered after 86. SVO Fox's were a 3 year run between 84 and 86
