you might want to find an 8.8 rear-end. It's a stronger rear-end and it comes with a locker, more traction(2 wheeled burnout/peelouts
You can get a used one for $200-300 at most salvage yards I think.(my local price $200, but I just ended finding a whole parts car for $280)
You'd be a lot happier with a 8.8 swap. Lot more aftermarket for them.
