3.73 gears for 2004 v6 manual

So I'm looking into buying some 3.73 gears and I want to know what the whole procedure is I don't know much about gears sorry

you might want to find an 8.8 rear-end. It's a stronger rear-end and it comes with a locker, more traction(2 wheeled burnout/peelouts ).
You can get a used one for $200-300 at most salvage yards I think.(my local price $200, but I just ended finding a whole parts car for $280)
You'd be a lot happier with a 8.8 swap. Lot more aftermarket for them.

What I meant to say what do I need for an 8.8 rear ? Like what entirely am I going to swap?

it should be a direct swap, as long as you get one from 99-04.
