Well if it did it with both engines, now you need to start looking into transmission, and the rear end
What kind of transmission do you have, auto or manual, and are you running a stock rear end, or GT

If the car rolls backwards after putting it in reverse, then i'm pretty sure it's from the trans. Automatic i'm assuming. I had the same problem in my '00 v6. I never found the problem, but it got progressivly worse iver the two years i had the car.

Well I think, from what she's saying, is your foot on the brake, you shifted to reverse, and when everything synchronizing, it probably jerks, now most cars do jerk, but very little when they synchronize

So I'm guessing hers just jerks more than normal
I didn't read anything about it rolling by itself after being shifted atleast

It's an automatic with its stock rear not gt. but it doesn't jerk normally the whole freakin car moves back! If the ac is on it goes into gear hella hard and jerks. It's really embarrassing. Some days it will barely jerk but you can still feel it and see it.

Higher the rpms harder it jerks back. Ill wait for them to go down but sometimes they never do as don't want to wait so ill just throw it in gear.

And my foot is pressing the brake always! I have that thing intone floor

I've had the car a year an a half and it's still the same. It has it good days and bad days... Lol

My old sixxer would ROLL back, when i had foot on the brake. Weirdest thing. It wouldn't be a far roll, but you could definitely feel it kinda like a clunk. Then you'd back out, put it in drive, and roll off like nothin' even happened. Over the two years i had that car, i realized that Sixxers have WEIRD problems. And i mean weird. That car would eat spark plugs for breakfast. When i would hit 45 mph, the car would Bog until i hit 50 mph. It did the whole reverse clunk thing too. Never did find out why it did those things. Great car though!

Lol clunk is the perfect way to describe it! The car will lag and it feels like the trannys slippin if I try to accelerate. But I don't know if it the tranny or not. But that's the feel it gives off . when it does that I have to give it more gas and it goes away! Did yours do that too?

Yep. Have had my car for 2 years and its been doing the dame thing. And it shifts hard from first to second (auto by the way) and tranny shop says it could fail at any time

Perfect time to upgrade your Cylinder count. I knew my sixxer was getting up there in miles. I wanna say like 118,000. So i saved and saved, and got a great deal on an 02 GT with fairly low miles. Kid wanted 9100 i got it for $8200. I don't know why, but i still miss my old six something fierce. Great little car. As it ages more little problems start to appear, and then it just gets to the point where it isn't worth the trouble anymore. But oh god, the memories in that sixxer.

Lol but if you have no back seat, some places won't let you drag, have to have something between you and the trunk(gas tank)

No i don't think so that sounds like a fuel problem like a filter or injectors

Well I bought that stuff you put in your tank when its empty to clean the fuel system or whatever, would you recommend that or should I actually get in there and clean the injectors an sh*t myself?

Lucas oil filter n injector cleaner is all i use n it's great n i think you need to change you filter in your intake and also i would recommend upgrading your spark plugs and coil pack i would suggest e3 or cooper plugs if you wanted you could buy some carb cleaner or throttle body cleaner n take te trottle body out n clean it n it'll be alot beter also if u need an oil change you should i use royal purple all those things will make your car feel great and smooth
