its black airsol but its plastic. basically you spray it on in coats of about 4-5 and it dries black. when you want to take it off you peel it off.

---------- Post added at 08:36 AM ---------- Previous post was at 08:35 AM ----------

theres a little more to it like steps and time allowed to dry but that's the basic

I get mine at ace hardware, if you go to plasti dips website it gives a list of all the stores they have an agreement with to sell in store

And in this weather, hot temperature I mean, there's really no drying time, once you spray a layer, by the time you get done with the whole layer, the beginning of that layer will already be dry because of the heat

Also remember to get painters tape, to mask off what you don't want to paint, and when you pulled the tape from the dip, make sure to go at a sharp angle

It's easy, Especially since if you're not good at that, you can practice, and if it doesn't look good, wait for it to dry and peel it back off

Any black you see, rims, hood, and rear are plasti dipped

Peel when wet or take a blade and carefully score the paint right against the tape, if you score it, it'll make a weak spot at that line and when you peel, the paint or tape will peel on that line

Pull fast if you don't want babies :whistles: but if you have it wet pull fast but if its dry (I recommend this anyways) use a razors edge and peel with it so the razor cuts the dip exactly where the tape is put

I personally when I'm taking the tape off sometimes I take it really slow, because I don't want to pull fast and accidentally missed something, and bubble up the paint, and sometimes it's going so well I just ripped off that, so like I said, it's personal preference

Me?
None, I love my color, only color I think I'd paint is orange
But I'm very anal, LOL I said anal, About waxing my car regularly, I at least wax my car once a month
And after you peel the plasty dip off, if you don't like anymore
You have to wax your car a couple times
And waxing a whole car, say three times in one day, that's no Bueno
Especially in this heat, I can barely wax my whole car once, without needing to go get a shower after
Today was the perfect day to do a full car wax, but it was storming, it was the first day it was like 70°, but it was pouring almost all day
