Serpentine belt and HVAC problem

I have a 2000 v6 and replaced my serpentine belt today and now my AC and heater only blow through the defrosting vents no matter the dial setting be it AC, vent, floor, etc. I checked the ECU for error codes and found none. Any ideas as to why such a problem would arise and how to go about fixing it?

Thanks. I was definitely dumbstruck as to how my serpentine belt would cause this and indeed it played no role. I initially thought it was a vacuum line but couldn't find anything the first time I looked. After checking out your link I looked again and indeed there it was. Vacuum line had somehow found its way to the engine and melted in half. Easy fix thankfully!
