Steering wheel feels a little loose

I have a 1999 v6 I love it but the steering feels a little loose. As in there is a tiny bit of play but the main thing is the steering feels A little to easy to turn ether left or right but only for like 1/4 of a turn...I don't know if this makes sense but if you understand how would I tighten it? Could it be worn tie rod ends or just does the steering wheel Column need to be tightened(Im learning to work on cars I don't know much yet)

If you slow down turning the r.p.m.s go down so the power steering does not turn as easily. Could posibily be another problem.

The stock steering column has terrible coupling bushings, aftermarket columns are about 150 and fix the issue
