To anyone on the road your car WILL be just another mustang. Unless you paint it bright yellow with decals all over the place then you will be unique. But building up a sixxer. It's been done. Just do what makes you happy man
It does lol...and I agree. To a non mustang owner they are all the same. Its just what you like since you drive it. If building it makes you happy then I say more power to you and I hope we can help along the way.

Exactly! Nothing makes me more proud about myself and my mustang than the feeling of knowing I'm the only one in this town who has the patience to build a sixxer up in this body style with everything I have on this car. Like I always say, you know u have pride and truely love your car when u have to take a second look at it as you walk away from it. Sounds kinda like true love

Idk I don't think it's worth It, I've seen a built and pro charged v6 put down 300hp..

That's like my car with just a mod or 2..
I don't think you should do it man

Pro charged only had 300?? That's very little, I've seen v6 with over 350 and they only spent 5k on parts

I remember my first mustang..... It's sitting out in the street and I drive it once a week to keep the battery from dying until I find a buyer. I was in love with that car too.... Until I saw that a car is just a car

I have 245 in mine, with the chip, tuner, and dyno soon ill have 285 easy to the rear wheel. That's only costing me 1k. But of course, I have resources that's why so cheap.

---------- Post added at 06:27 PM ---------- Previous post was at 06:25 PM ----------

Besides I'm only look for 400-450hp. I'm not asking for 800, if I wanted that then I would've bought a new gt but like I said that's not what I am interested in. It's stupid to have amounting over 600 becuz u can't use it's full potential in the streets, it becomes a drag car or the car u drive once a month becuz it draws to much attention to the cops

With a semi stock engine you're looking at no more than 210 hp. From factory your v6 came with 190 at the crank I believe

I know :p it was closer to 245 though. I forgot, can you refresh my memory? What do the NE's come with stock around 160 to the wheel? Or 190?

Completely stock V6 motor with exhaust and a P1-SC on 10lbs will make 300rwhp, the car you saw is a terrible example of a "built and boosted" V6.. Hell mine made 250rwhp on motor

Stock autos are around 150-155rwhp

Nothing is wrong with automatic, a lot of high performance cars can only use auto at the track because it's too powerful.

I read all of this thread just to end up saying whats already been said, like 10 times. Just save brother. Don't sink all that money in that car. U will never ever get it back out. I know u said u wanted to keep it but I think we all wanted to keep our first mustangs too.

Sound like opinions to me. A fact is "automatics are harder to work on that standard transmissions" an opinion is "manual transmissions are way better than autos" know the difference

my GT was a 5 speed....personally i prefer my auto to it. of course it depends what you're doing with the car. you'll find people more performance based will want an built auto or a 6 speed. i do have a question though..is this your first mustang?

Already built, the car stays at my uncle'a shop cuz I don't want it getting stolen in my neighborhood. That car has soooo much money put into it and is the most expensive thing I own.
