Besides I'm only look for 400-450hp. I'm not asking for 800, if I wanted that then I would've bought a new gt but like I said that's not what I am interested in. It's stupid to have amounting over 600 becuz u can't use it's full potential in the streets, it becomes a drag car or the car u drive once a month becuz it draws to much attention to the cops
245 To the wheels ? Sorry but that's a lil hard to believe ..

Dyno sheet ?

My buddy's fully bolted V6 2003
Ran against my buddy's girlfriends stock conv. 2000 GT and.. It was sad how bad the v6 lost .
I think stock GTs are around 230rwhp

You can have all the pride in the world but after you put allllllllll that money into it you will still get out run by other stock cars. Just saying.

build a corner carver...these v6's are wonderful for that...good weight distribution and you have many mods out there that'll help you on that journey. you'll leave much higher powered cars behind once you're solid in the corners at speed.

Give me a stock 99-04 V6 and the 20K+ (minus the cost of the V6 car of course) that a terminator cost, I'd bet $100,000 that the V6 wins...

Oh the sixxers. I'd have mad respect if one could beat a termi but in the end it's still a sixxer (no hate) but still. I'd rather have a 12 second termi than a 10 second v6 just dream car.

as much as i dislike Davids way of going about the v6 vs v8 talks on here lol. i will say his v6 would probably leave your GT behind both being n/a. For a v6 it's a respectable build.

so on that note lets get back on thread topic lol

Yes but if I were to get a few more mods and some dr's I don't think I would have a problem. For what he's got in it I could do the same. Or down payment on a termi. I wouldn't invest that much money in a sixxer. That's just me though.

To anyone on the road your car WILL be just another mustang. Unless you paint it bright yellow with decals all over the place then you will be unique. But building up a sixxer. It's been done. Just do what makes you happy man
Hey man, my 95 GT Is bright yellow with black stripes...you got something against yellow stangs? haha

dude.. I would love to have my first mustang still, id love to have my 2nd.. my first, an 84 notchback, a tree fell on my roof. my 2nd, the 95 v6 that my screen name comes from, got totalled when a other driver went left of center.. I'm now on my 3rd, my 95 GT.
what happens if you sink 10-15k into building a v6 and it gets totalled? good luck with an insurance policy that'll cover 20k in aftermarket addons to a v6 mustang.

I can tell you this, if I'm gonna drop sub 15k into building a motor, I want a hell of a lot more than 400 hp lol.

and I agree with an extent about auto trans not belonging in mustangs, however, that's why you put a manual valvebody and a stall in it. my gt was the first mustang I've owned (or driven) with an auto and it shifts harder than any of the others

If you don't make more than 400hp with that much money you don't need to be building any motor..
