315 on v6 with saleen kit

What y'all think about this size tire on my v6 with Saleen kit?? Had someone last night on here tell me it's too much for v6 even tho I get compliments all the time.

Looks good. Although you probably don't need that much on v6 power wise.

It rides/looks amazing, as far as power goes I will be upgrading the engine when a few other things are done to it first. I plan on making this car hit 350-400 horses. I like to piss of people by putting alot of money into a v6 to blow by v8, the reality of it is why buy a v8 and make it 600hp when u can't even drive a car with that much power without getting blurped everytime u step on it?? Lol

Exactly. It looks good, but excessive. On a stock motor they don't do any good. They're a little heavier and expensive. I use 245's at the drags and they're perfect. Does your car say saleen somewhere other than the bumper?

Unfortunately no it doesn't, I prefer the mono look. I'm looking into getting a couple things done and then put Saleen on rear or front glass, which would be best spot for that?? If I should even do that.

I would get that bumper shaved If I were you. The body kit is nice, I would rock that look as well but keep the saleen name out of it because my car is not and can not be a saleen. I would advice against putting saleen anywhere on the car since its a stock v6 engine but hey, your car, do what makes you happy

Shave the bumper? Meaning it'll get rid of the Saleen words? That's not a bad idea when I get it painted.

You don't need forged internals unless you plan on making stupid amounts of power, 400whp on a safe tune and it'll be fine as long as it has regular maintenance.

Well from what its going to cost to get your car to the power you want you could afford one keep that in mind. You may consider just saving your money till you find one. A v8 is just a better platform. Believe me I had a GT and mod for mod power wise there was no comparison.

Well it's the matter of doing somthing different over time, I'm in no hurry and I don't need my mustang to be just another mustang, I wanna be the one mustang everyone knows what's up. Isn't that the reason why we build our mustangs and make them a beast??? Unless your someone who just wants to be another mustang on the road

To anyone on the road your car WILL be just another mustang. Unless you paint it bright yellow with decals all over the place then you will be unique. But building up a sixxer. It's been done. Just do what makes you happy man
