Long tube headers!!

Ok guys, i want to do long tubes, i have a set in mind. Now i know i will need to get a tuner eventually, but is it really needed at the time of the lt header install? If i can run long tubes with out a tune then i will be safe. But i also dont have the money to be spending on the tuner just yet. My stock mani's are done, and i have ****ty gas mileage anyways. Any information would be helpful. I have a tru dual set up and a k&n cai already just to throw that out there

No you dont need one but will be more beneficial if you got one. But i wouldnt bother with the hassle and price of longtubes unless you're making a drag or track car. But thats just my opinion.

Sweet now that makes me feel a little better about installing them. Will the car run lean? Or will it just show the code for the o2 until i can have the fromt two removed with my tune?

Im doing a dailey driver with a nice sound to my v6. Im not gunna go all crazy with the motor. Now if i hit the lottery the car is getting paid off and will sit, then i will order a top of the line mustang and have all the upgrades done before it is delivered to my front door steps!! Hhahahahahahaha hope i win the lottery!!!

Yes it will throw off your afr a little bit but others have been fine not running a tune so you should be good.
