Push Button Start Help Needed Please

I purchased the push button start for 04 V6 from American Muscle. Got it all installed and it wouldn't work. Called my mechanic friend and he came to take a look. He said it isn't working because of the theft system.
Called AM and they said it can be bypassed. Does anyone know how to do this? otherwise I must pay someone, or return the product to AM.

I got it by passed by AM. I had to have a tune with PAPS turned off. There is 14 pages to making PAPS work. but it only turns off one thing, the fuel pump. Wish it was easier. You car is venerable to thief with the passive anti thef system turned off and a push button

I asked the AM guy about that, he said the theft system would still be working, that it would allow the push button to work. I would still need the key in the ignition. So I assume the theft system would still be working correctly. Or am I wrong about that?

There is a chip in the key that completes the thief system. It should work with the key on. The push button is just a alternative way of contacting the ignitions hot wire.

Got any idea how to make it work? Also during the install. I am supposed to connect the yellow wire from the button to the grey/yellow stripe wire in the ignition. Problem is, there are two wires that are grey/yellow stripe. I connected it to same wire as shown in photograph on install sheet. Could that be the issue, maybe I need to connect to the other wire?

I should get that, I took a cigarette lighter thing out of the 01 gt I had, but I couldn't find the actual cigarette lighter so there's just an ugly hole

It fits right in there real nice like. Kind of a weird spot for it though! But no drilling for the install. I just need to figure out how to get it to work now! (I'm not very smart when it comes to cars)
