IMHO I don't like them, drove in my friends 99 v6 and made terrible noises. Only exceptions would be a termi with a styling bar

heavier...needs more bracing to be a corner carver...and then has the standard pros and cons of any vert top. to me i'd rather always have a coupe

Convertibles are heavier because extra reinforcement in the body was needed because of the lack of the roof. They are heavier by 200 pounds i believe.... I will never get a soft top convertible car because they can tear or leak, and the visibility out the back sucks. Which is why i love hard top convertibles and T tops.

They are a bit slower but putting the top down and cruising is well worth it.

My terminator vert weighs less than a coupe after some well thought out weight reduction. My 90 lx vert is the most comfortable cruiser i've ever driven.

Basically you are either a vert person or you aren't. I'll never go back to a regular coupe, it's worth the headache

The top down is 100% worth it IMO nothing beats the sound of a fast and loud v8 when your taking off with top down. It's very enjoyable and they weigh more than hard tops. I owned both a 99 hardtop and vert and I loved the vert top but I parked it somewhere different for a month and this is what you getup you have a bad top :/ and its inside the seats door panels and way back in the seatbelts. I pulled them all the way out and the mold kept coming worse the more I pulled out lol...

Verts are awesome man. Nothing like cruising on a sunny day with the top down and your tunes on. Then are head turners, especially with a nice exhaust
