fog lights

What do I need exactly to install fog lights in a 1998 v6

1. fog lights
2. toggle switch
3. a spool of wire and crimp ends

pretty much that

Can't you also splice them onto your already existing headlight switch? Turn them on when you pull it out halfway

you can splice them to your ambers constant power wire for a more oem effect..half pull the switch to turn on fogs then full pull to keep them on and add the headlights on as well. i only run a seperate wiring setup because i've run 55w hid fogs before lol and i don't wanna chance my turn signals smaller wires. but for 35w hids or standard halogen fogs that'd work great

vmptuning.com has a kit that is supposed to plug in (basically the OEM system) and its supposed to be just like you car came with them from the factory for $180

you can buy the oem switch that goes into the console below your stereo for about 40 bucks, you don't need that kit from vmptuning (that's way overpriced anyways)

unfortunately that link doesn't go to the part, bad website design but I think so, I looked for it and found item #11 says about 44 bucks - switch assembly fog lamp. I have a 2001 so it was a bit different but same thing.
