u should look into getting a tuner. unless u plan on dropping some serious money into that little sixxer, i would just focus on a badass suspension and call it a day.

10-30 is a lot of money... Unless you have the money to go F/I then go for it

Your in California, so you can't have Long Tube Headers. Go with the BBK Shorties, BBK Catted X-Pipes and a Tuner.

A tuner won't get you more than 15hp. Do tuner and windstar and you will maybe get there

cai, tuner and full exhaust will probably get you 20-25 more. plus it will sound awesome, a good cam would help and it can also change the sound.

Long-tubes from what I've seen on youtube, make it sound deeper and change the tone. I plan on putting flow 40's with no cats, and maybe long tubes. It depends on some other things, that might happen(found a cheap project car)

you are mixing rear wheel horsepower and crank horsepower...so lets just stay on the rwhp

94-98 sn95's made roughly 130-140 rwhp...the 99-04 new edges made roughly 150-160 rwhp. that being said OP you have a modded filled road ahead to get 30 hp to the wheels. as for people asking if it's a real saleen...those aren't car people because i've run no mufflers...it's 100% v6 all the time.

to add to the discussion though i will say if you'd get rid of the huge wheels you'd probably notice the power you have currently more. Rotational mass is not your friend, and though 315's look cool...they really don't help you. a 275-285 is really more then enough

I never said it wasn't a v6 lol and actually I work for ford dealership, those guys who asked have been working on ford mustangs for years prolly longer than u been alive, that being said u can't say they aren't car people. U can state your opinion but u can't tell someone they kno nothing about cars, if my car tricks people its becuz they did the paint and body kit right. Enough said

+1 on the wheels. You're dragging more than your sixxer can carry basically. They're good on a V8 because they have the power but not in the sixxer. Especially with an open differential

we aren't putting you down we are trying to help you out. you want power but if you worked with your current setup you'd be super happy with even what you have now . and it's great you work at a Ford Dealer but i don't think i could have any mustang serviced by techs that misjudge a real saleen for a body kitted new edge. and that's not saying because it's a v6 but the new edge body in general. this includes GTs with saleen body kits.

as for being different that's awesome...we are all different in our own ways and that's what makes the motor sport industry such a great thing.
