jmod for 1995 auto tranny?

Is it possible, I just found out the 94-95's have a AOD-E, is this better or worse when compared to the 4R70w?

Can I still do a J-mod? or similar mod to increase fluid flow?

I know nothing about automatics, and my dad never worked on them.
Is this a easy mod if I find a good write up? or should I take it to a shop and see if they can do it?

OR am I better off trying to find a good 4R70w?(preferably not though...)

can any one help me out here? I want my transmission to shift as hard and fast as possible, I don't really want smooth shifting most automatics have maybe when I'm older, but right now I want something that'll shift hard and fast.

Yea u can still do the jmod, I read about it on those trannies somewhere. I would be careful doing it yourself though I did mine my self and wound up losing 4th gear. Had to get a new tranny eventually. But then got the jmod professional done and wow.

I read some stuff and they say the 4r70w is basically a updated AODE and that some parts interchange???
I've found nothing that directly says I can jmod my AODE tranny.

TCCoA Transmission Article - Page 13

On this page he details the entire modification, for both 4R70W and AODE transmissions. The one that requires different specifications is the AOD transmission. Do some detailed reading before you decide if you want to attempt this yourself, but it is possible with your transmission.
