HELP Door jamb transmission TR code

ok I need to find out what transmission my 2000 v6 automatic has in it so I know if the shift kit I want will fit it. It says it will fit a 2000 v6 with a 4R70W transmission but not a 2000 v6 with a 4R75W transmission. How do I tell what one I have what is the difference? I looked in the door jamb and the sticker says TR: U I don't know what to think any help?

Your car comes stock with 4R70W. All auto stangs from 99-04 do, 4R75W was used in the 2003+ Ford expeditions with the 5.4L V8.
