Shocks and Struts

I was on the search for some new shocks and struts and wanted to know what brands are good between Monroe Sensatrac KYB GR2 and Gabrile Ultra. O'Reilly has all 4 Monroe for $263 AutoZone has Gabriel Ultra for roughly $290 and American Muscle had the KYB all 4 for $240. Could use some info thanks

I think any of these Shocks/Struts will do the trick. However, Gabriel and Monroe are basically an affordable factory replacement suspension components. I would recommend going with a KYB set up. This is going to be a great set up for lowered cars, they're very affordable and they have great ride quality! KYB is going to be a huge upgrade over the current stock components.

As far as a warranty goes, we don't offer a warranty for this part directly. However, the manufacturer will have some sort of warranty on this item. Give my CS team a call and they can help you out will all of this information! They can be reached at the contact information in my signature.

By the way, is it smart to get a good pair for the front and then a just a bit lower quality pair for rear or vice versa?

You're welcome! Definitely let me know if you have any questions or need some assistance.

I would recommend sticking with the same brand and model. If you're going with a KYB GR-2 Strut, go with a GR-2 Shock!

Hope this clears things up.
