Muffler opinions

Okay so I am trying to decide on my mufflers so I can go get divorced duals. It's between oval Magnaflow mufflers, cherry bomb extremes, or Flowmaster 10s. I want loud and deep. I can't tell if magnaflows would be loud enough, its a good sound but not sure about volume. The cherry bombs I think I like but not sure. The 10s, I've heard a couple good and a couple bad videos so not sure. I'd love to hear those in person but that is not an option haha

MUFFLERS

What "Doe Rae Mi" said was accurate. Most Companies have more than one model of Mufflers, when you go to them, you have to tell them exactly what sound you're looking for. If you Don't do that, you're giving the salesman the chose to put on what ever he or she wants to put on it.

Go with catted h pipe and flow 40s, 44s or 10s. You will get a throaty v8 sound. Uncatted gets very raspy

you know he won't get a v8 sound.....it'll sound like a sweet v6 though

the way i see it op is don't try to be anything you aren't..you drive a v6 so make it an awesome v6. my exhaust is the opposite of low and rumbly. i chose to make mine sporty sounding which to me is a great sound for our sixxers.

I'm looking into those. Just hard to find a video that's not a GT.

I don't like Flowmasters. I think I might like the 10s but that's the extent of it. I don't like the throaty sound.

When I had my v6 I was on YouTube 24/7 trying to find the best exhaust, and finally decided on some flow 40's. it was cheap and got me good low sound. I got some clips on YouTube if you want to hear it

Well obviously yeah nothing we have can make the sound of the 4.6. But marks catted h pipe and flow 40s sounds amazing for a 3.8

I've looked around and I don't like any of the Flowmasters except for maybe the 10s. I don't like the rest

I have realized that I love the cherry bombs about 3500 RPMs and lower. But I HATE the popping after the higher revs. So they are out. Down to flowmaster 10s, magnaflow oval, and magnapack

Magnapacks and flow 10s will be your loudest. Magnaflows are a lot more tame but Magnapacks will be louder and flows will be deeper (straight through vs chambered) magnaflow also comes stainless steel and has a good warranty behind them. Flows will TRY to give your six that classic muscle car rumble

Would the flow 10s or magnapacks be too much for dumped divorced duals? I want loud but not so loud I'll hate. I already have one oval magnaflow but I think the flow 10 might be what I want. Are the oval ones chambered or straight through?

That's what I was thinking. That's why I was leaning towards magnapacks. There just aren't many magnapack v6 videos.
