Chips Anyone?

Has anyone tried those chips that promise more HP and mpg? I have seen them advertised a lot and was just curious about them. Seems there is a scam around every corner.

You'd better get Ruffel's tangy honey mustard if you want to go fast

I wouldn't know what to do with a tuner, I would probably make a mess!

tuners usually come with pre-set tunes, or with bama you tell them what you have and they make the tune.
I don't see how you could mess it up, unless you told them it was GT, or something...

Yeah they hook up to the Obd2 port. Most tuners say 1996 or newer. That's wrong most, 94 95 mustangs v6 have obd2.
There easier than a chip.

If it does not cost you hundreds of dollars it is not worth buying

Yeah, just buy a Bama tuner from AmericanMuscle.com! To my knowledge, they'll ask you a series of questions about your mods. Then, depending on the mods that you've done, the guys at Bama will install custom tunes into your new tuner and ship it over to you. From there, you just plug it in under your dash and follow instructions on the screen. It's that easy! ...So I hear! I haven't done so yet, but this will be my next mod!

You can get the Bama 4 stage eliminator chip it does the same thing as a tune it has 3 pre set tunes you can change on the fly only difference is if you want to update your tunes you have to send it in to Bama it is a little cheaper than a hand held tuner also. You can find the chip on American muscle under the tuners tab
