Normal M112 kit requires 3" cowl (using the real plates not the SSM knock off) the intercooled kit requires a 4" now imagine a plenum on top of that lol
So it would need about 7-8inch cowl, probably more.
I'd be a little embarrassed to take it out with just a 6cylinder under the huge hood.
Might wanna add some nos.
I've seen m112s on v6's, but this is the lightning m112. It sticks up quite a bit higher than the cobras m112.
I'm not saying I don't like m112s on v6's. But having huge ass cowl hood to fit it would be a little weird.
Well my point is if a cobra m112 on a v6 fits under a stock hood (with a scoop) why can mine with a custom lower profile intake tube fit under a 2 in cowl
It doesn't fit under the scoop, to have a hood to actually clear the pulley (the highest point normally) it takes a 3" cowl, who knows make a custom inlet that chokes it down power wise it might clear a 5" cowl lol
Honest opinion, try to sell it and get a proper one
Just got my heads back,
David your inbox was full so they have comp springs,
seat load 105lbs @ 1.800
Open 293 lbs @ 1.200
Spring rate 313 lbs/in
Coil bind 1.140
Found someone sellin a cobra m112 stage 3 port job and 2.73 pulley, said he was pushin 15 lbs of boost, think I'm gonna get that, has anyone seen 15lbs off a m112 on a v6? I've seen it on prochargers but not that
Didn't you decide to do forged internals? If so it'll handle whatever you throw at it. Cam isn't high lift so shouldn't be a big deal, but under high power it may cause float.. Depends what you plan on doing.
Well I'm realizing I'm going about this all wrong, this would be a bad ass motor and all but the rest of the car isn't built for what I want to do, and instead of re inventing the wheel and trying to make a v6 drift car I think I'm going to go the 240sx route, I know everything I need for a 240, cause I read up on this stuff 24/7 and from friends that have them, but not much info out there for my car. For instance the tire size I'm using would be great if not to much grip for a 240, but with the weight of my car I just plow all over the track. And if I put bigger wheels, I can barely spin them. And that's just the start of the problems, I already had $3,000 planed just to make my car have more steering angle, when I can easily get just as much for way cheaper in a 240, realy wish this woulda worked out, but I think it's just time to part ways with it
No but I know he has lowered springs and a lot of negative chamber
