M90 power

What kind of power am I limited to with the m90? I was planning a conservative 4.2 m90 splitport build with stock internals (350ish), but now I'm going with forged so I'm lookin for a lil more power. Can the m90 still handle it or will it choke

The eaton m90 is for the single port heads. The m112 will work with the adapter plate for $900, plus whatever the 112 costs.

I dont think your going to get into the power range you want with the m90 alone. What else do you have planned?

Custom cam port and polish splitport heads, Mabey some flat top pistons or somethin to bump compression a little. Do some work to the SC and I'll probly have a custom intake manifold

Well it appears you've got a good plan of attack. With all the work you plan on doing, I assume yourself, I would still suggest another option over the 90. Seems you have a healthy budget, so an m112 would be the route I would would take personally. But the best option I believe would be a Procharger. Paired with all the work you do it would provide for some substantial gains.

My reasoning is why do some serious modifications and spend a chunk of change, just to slack off and throw an m90 on top. But once again this is based on my assumption that cost is not a factor.

Well yea, cost kinda is a factor, I wasn't expecting to do forged just kinda happened at the last minute, but I just kinda think the m90 is a more efficient charger for our engine, I especially like the fact that it's intercooled, and I hear they can max out at 2bars (about 30psi) is that true? I'm sure it's not efficient that high, but I can be somewhere in between

I guess I could meth inject a m112 but I just don't wanna spend 900 on a custom plate from Ssm, Mabey the cnc guy I know can make one..

If you were going to have a plate fabbed for the m90, it won't be any different just have it done for the 112 instead.

Don't do high compression if you're boosting something like 9.2 (stock 4.2 compression) would be friendly

Luis and I are making M112 plates and also intercooled kits are in the works.

Yea I'm starting to lean towards m112, it's just the hot air that kinda turns me off of it

I planned on getting it listed under different setups:

•Send in blower and it modified and cooler attached

•Same^ but comes with plate of correct height for IC clearance

•Offer short plates for non cooled setups

Of course no prices as of yet

R&D time.. Still haven't hooked mine up waiting on the plate to be made, then testing out how well it'll actually work, this will be the first known attempt at inter cooling one lol
