Spark

Ok guys I going to tune up my 04 tomorrow, I am going to stick with Motorcraft plugs. It's still pretty stock only thing I have added so far is BBK CAI. Question is I'm thinking on putting the Platinum plug in instead of the normal cooper core standard plug, has anyone used these plugs in there 3.9 and what is your input on them.

ignore him, his information is incorrect 99% of the time on this forum anyway. I stuck with motorcraft in my v6, and they ran perfectly. I'm not sure if you have a COP system or coil pack, if you have a coilpack i would recommend upgrading to an MSD coilpack. Works great on those cars.

They came from the factory with motorcraft platinums. Going with the coppers will give you a better spark, but at the cost of life span. That being said I will only run motorcraft coppers in my stangs. Combine with msd wires and an msd streetfire coil pack for a better throttle response and pep.

Even the 2v's aren't that fast, trust me I had one. Idk why you think the gt is the ultimate car, the new v6 spanks 2vs.

To the op I prefer copper. You can still easily get 50k out of copper plugs and save money. I run copper plugs in all of my cars and have never had an issue. One set has 60k on them currently.

The thing is these people are satisfied with their v6 mustangs and not all of them care about big power. And those who do will do whatever they can to obtain it, there are a few v6 on here that can beat bolt on 2vs.

sorry bud, spark plugs aren't a bolt on. No matter which way you look at it. Your point is invalid. He's asking how to get the car to run better. Not looking for high performance.

---------- Post added at 05:55 PM ---------- Previous post was at 05:53 PM ----------

Also, contrary to popular belief, your opinion is not wanted by all, only some. V6 mustangs, as stated, can make great power. But those are being built by car guys who know how to build am Engine, not by bolt on queens.

Lol. Like I said, the gt is perfect for my wife.

I had a 02 v6 for 5 years and had more fun in that car than any of the 5 I currently own.

What you're saying is YOUR opinion. So hop off of the OP tread cuz everyone knows you're only looking for attention.

Lol wtf are you trying to prove mustang man? The points you're trying to make are as pointless as 'only girls like color x' and 'only girls drink mixed drinks'. You should really try to find somewhere else to find verification other than a god damned mustang forum.
