oil pan

Ok, I am attempting to do my oil pan gasket and looked in the workshop manual and I don't have the special tools or facilities to do it that way. I was wandering if anyone knew of another way to do it.

You'll have to unbolt and lift the engine or drop the k member out for clearance.

21mm socket for mounts and a decent jack to lift the motor is how I do for longtube installs, can get about 3-4 inches up before the trans hits the top of the tunnel, not sure if it'll be enough to get an oil pan out or not.

+1 I had to do mine after puching a whole in the oil pan. Had to lift the motor, unbolt part of the k member to get enough room to squeeze it out.

Lol, I had an exhaust shop lower my car onto the welding cart. Needless to say the work was free.
