WIndstar Intake

So this past weekend I picked up a Wind-star intake at the junkyard for $27.00. Not bad i don't thank being that I got the throttle body too. I know that i need to fab a throttle bracket and some other stuff. But I mocked the lower and upper intake up today to see how it looked and noticed that the EGR is hitting the throttle body. Is there a way around this or will i need to fab up a spacer for it? I'm in the middle of my 4.2 swap. I've got my old 3.8 tore down and waiting to find parts or a hole 4.2 engine. I've found a few but all 200,000 plus miles.

You need to get the egr bracket off the windstar it makes it sit lower

If you plan on keeping iac on top of intake instead of relocating you need to swap the mustangs tb guts into the windstar tb so it'll open the right way or get an adapter plate that allows you to use a mustang tb. If you're relocating just use the mustangs and grind the top down on it for clearance and fill it in same with top of intake.

Yeah I just seen that on another site and I gota TB form an 4.2 truck it opens the same as the mustang TB. how would i go about relocating the IAC. Thats what I'm having the most truble with. I'm going back to the junk yard this weekend to pull more parts. I would like to keep it in the same spot but it willn't clear the hood I'm looking for a scoop to put on it all. I seen some of your youtube vids and like your hood but I'm looking for more of a cowl hood.
