Problem accelerating 1994 v6

Hey everyone I'm having an issue I can't seem to trouble shoot... I have a 94 v6 mustang and when I try press the pedal all the way down to accelerate it kicks down a gear then revs out the Rps but doesn't take off... Anyone have any ideas how to get my horse kicking again??

is this a recent issue or has it always been the case. sn95 v6's when they rolled off the line only had around 140 rwhp...after so many years i'd say 120-130 is a safe bet. if it's recent could be a fuel issue

I just recently bought it and it had this problem it needs an o2 sensor could this be the issue or could it possibly be something as small as spark plugs??

well i'd do a tune up and go from there

plugs, wires, coil pack, fuel filter, air filter

The spark plugs could be it. Mine did that when I had one cracked plug but not as extreme as yours sounds

I would think that the tune up is your best bet. Fuel or spark plugs are probably the culprit and the tune up affects both[COLOR="Silver"]
