Help on rear end and some pointers on tuning - Mustang Evolution

Help on rear end and some pointers on tuning

How can you check if the rear end has been changed out I wanna swap out to a gt rear end but idk if it has been swapped . My car gets off the line quick

Also need some tuning pointers I just had a true duel exhaust flow master thunder kit put in

Pull a burnout and look for two tire marks. GT rear ends have a locker stock, v6 rear ends are open and spin one wheel.

Like the person above me said the easiest and lost fun way to find out is to roast the tires and see if they both lock. If they both lock then you're good to go.

As far as tuning you won't need any tune for just exhaust. Honestly you won't need to tune for anything unless you do drastic intake changes such as try to put a huge MM tb/ upper plenum or do internal engine/ head and cam work or go with forced induction. Also you might wanna use a tuner to correct the speedo after a gear swap or to turn off rear 02s after switching to an o/r pipe.

Just burned out ant turns out it both spin out so that's good and thanks for the help will p/u headers and cai tomorrow tuner next week any specific brand that works
Good on our cars also will it turn off o2

I have a SCT tuner. The X3 I think. It works okay but there are better ones out there.

Yes. You can turn off rear 02s.
