Front struts

Hey guys, I jut replaced my front struts recently and cut my springs. What I wanted to know is if when you take out the old stock front struts do you transfer over all the hardware that was on the old one like the dust cap. There were other rubber stoppers and a long metal ring shaped thing on it. Thanks

Yes the top you have to swap to the mew ones and the dust cover too. I just changed mine last week, but I didn't cut anything.

Yes you should get new bumpstops with ur struts. Just use the dust shields off old struts.
