Roof dome light

So I just bought a 2002 V6 mustang and my dome light on the roof never turns off? It drains my battery a ton and sometimes I need a jump, I took out the bulb so I don't have that problem but now when I get into my car at night I can't see **** without manually turning on the side lights on the dome, so what can I do?

Using google, someone said turn your headlight knob clockwise, take out the bulb, or get new wiring for it. It could also be the door isn't closed all the way..

Mine doesn't turn on when I open the door so idk why yours would..

Before you try to rewire it. http://www.moddedmustangs.com/forums...ght-stays.html

Could be you left your light on. There's 3 total bulbs in there. And the headlight knob turns on the middle one. The headlight knob is a dinner switch also which dims your gauge cluster and if turned counter clockwise till it clicks it turns on your interior light

Mine if you don't lock the doors when you get out with the remote they won't turn off. You also have to turn it counter cliques to where it clicks and it'll go off. Mine used to be the same way when I bought some green LEDs for the dome light that someone had removed.
