Most 02-04 plain v-6s go for 6,000 in my area and most people value them at 3000. The price varies by area. You can call your local insurance provider and find out the value and that will probably be the most accurate comparison. OF course they do not value mods unless you inshore them.

Sorry but you are way off. That is an 2001 Bullitt, its the 4.6 2v with a whole bunch of extra goodies. Its pretty much a premium extra premium model. Granted he did post in the V6 section i'll give you benefit of the doubt on the confusion.

It's in good shape, just a couple minor things that will need fixing other than that it is very nice.

If you don't then I'll go get it myself since we are both in California. I'd love to have another Bullitt parked next to my Bullitt.

A clean Bullitt with that many miles should be just a tad over $10k, thats a good deal.

Definitely take it for a test drive and look it over thoroughly. Check the cruise control also. I didn't realize it until the drive home when i got mine but the cruise control didn't work. I don't really care though.

That paint is to die for. I didn't like green normally, but when polished up real nice that paint glows.

Here is a few things the Bullitt came with upgraded from the GT:

3/4" lower (pretty good handling factory spring).
Subframe connectors (same that came on verts)
Tociko Shocks and Struts
Retuned exhaust (sounds good, but you will want better).
MUCH better intake, bumps power to about 270hp and 315tq, and better power curve.
Amazing interior (seats really hold you well in the corners)
Mach style quarter windows
Special side skirts
Flush mount side scoops
More aggressive hood scoop
Underdrive pullies

I'm sure there are a few things i'm missing.

It is pretty much a full bolt on and better handling GT, but there is always room for improvement.

I love it, some people know and some people don't know what a Bullitt is, if they don't know then you will pretty much have to explain what it is and why its a "special" model. If the person does know (usually older people) what a Bullitt is they will most likely love the car.

Granted I did get used to the power pretty quickly, it seems slow now. But any car seems slow after you drive it for a while. Its a nice collectors car to have. I would say if the one you are getting is fairly clean keep it stock and it will be a collector car in the not too far future. Mine is a high miles car and isn't numbers matching (drivetrain replaced under warranty at 20k miles) so i decided to mod the crap out of it.

Oh, and the grille and exhaust tips are also Bullitt special as well. And obviously the fact its the only 99-04 Mustang to come from the factory wingless (which means no holes in the decklid).
