Not sure what you're meant by this, assuming you mean it as change the speedo so you don't have to correct it for a gear change? The calibration is in the computer not the cluster, if you just want a 150mph speedo then it will be a straight swap into your car since the pats is turned off, but the mileage will not be the same of course.

Everything is possible, but realistically, the answer to your question is no. You would need to change way too much over to make it work. Including the fact the s197 cluster won't fit in the dash of an sn95

Yes, that is exactly what I was asking. I was afraid it was not that easy.

I can partially answer your question. You need a tuner to turn P.A.T.S. off or know the wire to cut off the fuel pump cut off switch. I am not sure if the speedometer needs to be calibrated with a tune

Are you planning on using the GT gauges because the GT doesn't start redlining until after the v6's do.

Some people don't even use a tach when driving though, My grandpas ranger doesn't have it.(i'm learning to drive stick in it. He's teaching me drive by sound.)
I think the redlines kinda a recomendation, considering alot of these cars are over 100k miles. The red line is probably, off. I've never touched the red line, except for the one time at a stop sign.(friend rev his hyundai, fart cannon exhaust couldn't just stand there)

You have to use the tuner to correct the speedometer for gears but otherwise it's a straight swap

Where the redline is on the tach doesnt matter anyway, the engine redline is controlled by the computer so its still going to redline at the same spot on the tach, i.e. ~6k, the only difference is the physical red line wont go all the way down to 6k

Hey guys I wanted to do the same thing , I saw a 03 svt speedo on Craigslist for 60 bucks out of a wrecked svt and was thinking about buying it for my 02 v6 , does that mean I have to get a tuner to turn off pats? And also will I get check engine light because I'm not into that happening or I will just keep original guage ?
