What could cause this?

So just my luck, yesterday I was driving and this car turned out of an apartment complex right in front of me so I swerved out of the way to avoid hitting him, keep in mind it was very wet outside, so my rear tires broke loose immediately and I started to spin and before I knew it I was on top of a curb and I had hit a fence. The only damage done to my car was on the front bumper the alignment is off because of me hitting the curb so hard but it was already off to begin with, and from what it looks like, the rear right fender is sitting higher than it was before. I'm thinking it's a bent strut? I haven't gotten to look at it. I'm not to concerned about the bumper because I'm sure I can get it buffed out but I'll need a new lip . I'm almost positive the guy saw it and he didn't come back. Can't believe people these days. Anyways, what could be causing the rear to be like that?

Might of tweaked the body a little if you hit hard enough.
