found the leak, can timing cover be welded?

ok guys so thanks to the fella from my last post i know its the timing cover that has a small hole in it, should i use some jb weld? or could i actually weld it any way? id rather weld than jb weld so it would be more reliable, thanks for any input! you guys have been awesome!

Personally, i would hunt a used one down in a boneyard. Should be pretty cheap. Ebay? CL? Last resort, try jbweld. It does work wonders. Buddy punctured an oil pan out jeepin. Used jbweld, and it has benn holding up for months!

Used ones are cheap, $30 max normally, don't forget the hidden screw behind the oil pump when you go to take it off, a lot of people forget and crack the cover..
