v6 with a powerstroke turbo?

Now I am pretty new so don't hate on me too much. I have a question and was seeing if anybody had ever done it before, my question is can I take a Ford Powerstroke turbo and slap it into my v6 3.8l motor and if so what all would need to be done to run properly?

It would cost you WAY to much money for it to actually work and then you wouldn't get the desired performance out of it compared to a unit built specifically for your car.

Even if I found the parts at a Pick a Part? I mean I am looking for a cheap turbo to put on there till I can gain some real money and swap in a built 347 stroker supercharged.

There is way more to a turbo setup than just the turbo. You need headers, y pipe, various piping, intercooler, upgraded fuel system, upgraded internals, etc

Most of that is custom made as well

I appreciate the advice then, looks like I will just have to wait it out and place the money into savings for even better parts!

You could put a stroker in it for the price of that install so I would just save up

Turbo will work with a stock engine, I think its around 5 psi max maybe a Lil more. On a stock engine I'd stop at 5psi though.
Since the turbos designed for a 7.3 liter engine... I imagine a lot of turbo lag, but with a lot of power once it spools up.
