ID:	143986Hello I recently purchased a brand new dual exhaust system magnaflow high flow performance cats with a x pipe and high flow mufflers. It isn't stainless steel and I'm guessing that's why it looks like its starting to rust :/ it's only been a few month is this possible?
Anyways I just want to make sure I got a good deal. The weld job looked pretty choppy and crappy to me but I would love a second opinion. It cost 1100$ total for the new exhaust with labor and everything. Does it look like a shoddy job to you?
1100$ x pipe high flows everything and all magnaflow. It's on a 99 mustang btw
I think I have the photos up here let me know if don't I had a little trouble with it
I also noticed the sound isn't as loud as it was at first

So it looks like a crap weld job?

---------- Post added at 06:37 AM ---------- Previous post was at 06:33 AM ----------

It also came with some nice tips but it isn't even stainless so it's gonna rust. Is that really worth 1100. These guys call cip in stroudsburg did it in pennsylvania. They wanna charge me 4-500$ to install a set of 10in vinyl racing stripes. I felt that was a little high

Crap? No. However, if you want no rust type welds, you'd have to go with aluminum or other metals, and that would cost you even more.

Thanks as long as it's a decent weld. Is 1100$ a fair price for that job?

Where was this done? Removal (and disposal?) of your stock exhaust, install and welding of the new, the price seems a bit high. What's there hourly labor rate? Did you shop around, or was this the only person who resides in your area?

Some people do not like Pipes raspy (European racecar) sound, but they use 409 stainless steel. That is one of the reasons I chose them. I just wrote that to help people in the future.
It sucks to over pay people for work because there shop is slow and they get what they can out of you. Hopefully there will be no future issues. Sorry, man.
