Depends on what you want from your car. Tell us what you bought, engine, transmission, etc.

How much do you plan on spending for this mod.? How good of a mechanic are you (1 to 10 scale)?

Don't sink money into power imo unless you're looking to swap. Go for handling and upgrade the rear diff. A short throw shifter is a great first mod.

I will be having this car for a long time. I just turned 18. And for a level of mechanic I'd say lime a 2 maybe. My brother is like a 4. I am on a teenager budget, but am not willing to spend over 400 dollars on a single mod. I have been looking a couple of exhaust upgrades to start.

i personally would suggest exhaust, but if you don't mind not gaining any performance axle backs should keep you in your budget.

As far as which it's all up to your taste in sound, you can go on youtube and get a pretty good idea of the different type for your model v6.

The best mod is the Windstar intake swap. It would bring you from 190 hp 210 tq to 200 hp 240 tq and it would cost you between $400 and 500. Most mods give you little performance gains.

What do you want for the heads and who ported them?

Not sure who did the port and polish because they're from Texas, I have over 600 invested in the heads... I'd take 400 for both. They come with ls1/ls6 springs and I have extras as well

I am interested, but I am afraid they are turbo/super charger ported heads. Do you know the CFM?

I'm an air head and misplaced the flow charts. They're stock 98 4.2 heads that are mildly ported. I planned on doing a high compression setup but came across a full GT for 850 so plans have changed. But the intakes are port matched to the heads if you want them too

The Windstar intake is so popular even people who have the larger 4.2 F-150 intakes upgrade to the Windstar. I have a 4.2 intake and upgrading to the Windstar.
Exhaust will add 1 hp. unless you eliminate the cats and add shorty cats. Most people do it for the sound.
