eBay turbo

If I did buy a eBay turbo what would be a safe amount of boost the safest amount I could run without really any worrys at all this wouldn't be a track car just a peppy daily driver for me

And trust me I know eBay turbos are crappy but hey got to do what you can when your low on cash I'm talking about one of the 1000-1500$ kits

I think I've seen a piping and intercooler kit on eBay before for like, $150-$200 a while back. I'd then piece together the wastegate, bov, manifolds, etc and then buy a name brand turbo that's been used. Make sure it has no shaft play, though. I would never go with an eBay one. 95% of people say they blow within 500-1500 miles at most

14.5lbs of boost will almost double what you have already. Say you're at 230rwhp, after that amount of boost you would have 420-440rwhp

How would that be a safe amount of boost to run on a stock motor? An eBay turbo at that. I wouldn't run that with a turbonetics

It was just a number to go off of.... stock our motors can handle 300hp but I wouldnt get close to that. Sooooooo 9-10lbs boost

Although, to be on the safe side, I'd run about 7psi personally with a good tune
