So this kinda is just a rant about the deal I'm about to make. I already have heavy machined and port/polished heads, windstar, port matched lower intake, and a 4.2 .030 over block. I'm about to make a deal with a guy that has the New 3.74” stroke crankshaft, SCAT forged H-beam rods, ARP bolts, Wiseco forged pistons (.030 over 10:5-1), rings, pins, lox, 1.7 roller rocker arms, studs, adjuster nuts, guideplates, shims, hardened push rods 7.150, and valvespring retainers. So, after I do this, what will I still need to complete this???? ( besides cam and tune)

You have to have your heads shimmed so the rocker mounts will work. I gave the machine shop my cam and he had a extra block so I did not have to do roller geometry rod size and by different push rods.

Pause the video when the head pops up and notice the black on the head. Look at the one next to it and notice it has been machine shop cut (I think shim is the word). It's a video about roller geometry.bring a valve cover too. I have the same set up and my polly locks did not work. They were too short. I have the right order number, but you need to have them cut by the machine shop.

new engine,1.7 rocker arms,Pipes exhaust, shorty cats , shorty headers,under drive and overdrive pulleys,4.2 upper plenum, throttle body spacer, cold air intake, stage one clutch, shorty shifter, and tune. 8.8 in storage
