Aftermaket torque converter?

Im looking at the TCI lockup torque converter on AM. I want to know is this something that I should put on a daily driver v6 with light mods? Also can someone explain what the RPM stall is? I think I have an idea what it does but just need someone to clear it up for me. The RPM stall on this TC is at 3000 RPM.

I read in many places that it's not good for daily drivers, you need to have powerful mods to add the high stall t/c, I'm also looking for a t/c but not sure yet what's the best aftermarket that is same as stock spec.

A 2500 stall would do decent with a stock motor, I have a 3K in my car and it does wonders. Daily driving, eh depends how you drive, as long as it still locks up in OD highway will be unaffected. Even with my 3K I can let off the brake when stopped and the car still tries to pull itself, under light throttle the car won't rev up higher to move, some think you have to get to the stall speed before it will do anything which is not the case. Once you do put your foot into it, WOT, the converter will flash up to the stall speed and then it starts biting and pulling.

So you think the 3K torque converter I want would be a good thing to put on my daily driver? I drive it a little harder than most so I want to make it faster

does circle d make a converter for your car? that will be the last converter you will ever need they are built to last. i hear ups and downs about TCI and that they start slipping after a year or two.
