Custom tunes

I hear people talking about custom tunes instead of something from BAMA or another company, how and where do you do custom tunes? How much would one be? And as for BAMA or other companies what company would you recommend

You email bama with a list of mods you have on your car and they custom tune it around those mods, and send you the tune to upload onto your handheld

Steeda is a better tuner IMO.

AM sells the better parts.

Dyno tunes in most cases are going to be the "best" option. However, they're much more expensive than a custom email tune like you will get from Bama or any of the other top remote tuning companies. For bolt on cars a remote tune is a great option and will definitely produce huge gains and will really wake your car up. It really doesn't make sense to spend all of the money to be Dyno tuned if you're just running exhaust and intake.

For every Bama Tune we ask you 19 questions about your specific Mustang, including your unique mods and style of driving. This info helps us write custom tunes from the ground-up for your Mustang's mods that will give you the most horsepower that we can safely deliver. We're also constantly developing our tunes! Between our 14 different Project Mustangs and tons of street/track and dyno testing (on our in-house Dynojet 224xLC), we're looking for any minor tweaks to be made that can benefit you guys. We're also part of Fords Technology Transfer Program & Work very closely with Ford to insure that all of our tunes are perfect!

I hope this helps explain things a little better. If you have any questions or concerns feel free to hit up the Bama team and they'll make sure you're taken care of. They can be reached at the contact information below in my signature!

-Dan

Custom tunes

Luis does an exceptional job at tuning, unlike some places he won't just give you a random tune based on what you say you have and hope it works good, we actually use datalogs to monitor certain parameters to see how the car does and tweak it accordingly to make it work great for your car.
