Oil Pan Gasket Leak

Hey everyone Im trying to get some advice on my leaking oil pan gasket. I noticed in the haynes manual that I have to drop the suspension because I have no clearence with the cross member, it also said I need to lift the motor and trans a little. I was wondering is there a way to do it without doing all that because Im not a mechanic. I work at a quick lube shop so I can get under the car in one of our bays. And if there isnt a way to do it without removing all that stuff is it worth getting done at a shop or just leave it since its not bad and just keep an eye on my oil level. Any advice would be great. Thanks.

Have you tried the simple means first, and checked all the pan bolts for tightness?
