Please Help!

Alight so i just purchased my first mustang. It is a 2001 Mustang V6 manual. i have a couple problems and need to know where to start looking. The first thing is the cruise control does not work at all like when the button is pushed there is no response whats so ever. Next the deforest button light does not light up when pushed. Last its also a convertible and when im trying to put the top down i have to assist it so im thinking i might need to bleed the lines?

Thanks,Brennan

The convertible motor is electric. You will need a new electric motor.--->94 04 Ford Mustang Convertible Top Motor 2 Wires | eBay
The electronic heater is more than likely the switch. But check your fuses first for the cc and eh.

Sounds dumb I know, but its with a shot to ask. Is the defrost button plugged up behind the plastic bezel?
