Rear lowering springs installation

I looked at two springs installation guides on AM website, and both lift the rear end on jacks to replace the springs.
Do I really need to lift the whole rear end, or I can lift each side separately like the front?

Thanks in advance guys.

Its just convenient to get both sides in the air at one, time. I don't think its absolutely necessary.

Yes I believe so, I saw couple videos replacing the rear shocks not the springs, and they did it one side at a time, but I wanted to make sure it's ok to do it like this.

Thanks, actually I just ordered struts and shocks (koni is 25% off) and I'll replace them while doing the springs!
