Labor charge knowledge needed. Which exhaust method is cheaper?

Hey folks, another exhaust question thats pretty straight forward. Which of these two methods to convert a v6 dual exhaust would be cheaper (including labor charges ie. how long it would take to fabricate etc.)

1. Buying a catback exhaust for a 87-93 GT ($370) and giving to the exhaust shop to fabricate an H-pipe and bolt everything on.

2. Buying 2 mufflers ($160) and the tail pipes ($150)= $310 and having the exhaust shop fabricate more "stuff" as well as create pipes that connect muffler to mid pipe as well as create the midpipe itself.

Basically: Are catbacks cheaper than buying the components themself when you factor in labor/fabrication work required? The catback is $370. The mufflers+tailpies= $310 but that doesn't include the pipes that extend off then mufflers (here's a picture of what i mean...these are from the catback)$thumb_68x51$

Just buying mufflers and having divorced duals will be the cheapest. Just have them dumped after the mufflers. Or you could add tailpipes and that'd still be the cheapest. Between your two choices though, the second one
