id take the seats out and do a deep clean, and give her a deep cleaning, then see what she will need for maintnace. then think anout suspension, exaughst, maybe a 8.8 with gears. but a car is to ones own do what will make you enjoy your car.

I thought about doing that to, but I have money for a couple things I was wanting to use it wisely. I may do that, it does need a little but of a clean up.

I CAN NOT TELL IF IT IS A STANDARD OR AUTOMATIC. If it is a standard get a short shifter. Mustang Short Throw Sport Shifter (82-Early 01 V8; 93-99 Cobra; 94-04 V6) - Free Shipping

I'd go fully automatic with a rice gun on your 6. I'll give it to you. For a new person you have some balls.

I'd murder that ****er out. Seriously. Grab some interior dye, black the inside, throw some smoke vinyl headlight and tailight covers on it, maybe some coilovers to drop it, tint the windows, maybe even a bodykit. Then grab a CAI and get started on performance. Haha

Agreed, not much you can do to 6ers performance wise. But you sure can make them look good!

Get the new edge generic cosmetic mods. Mach grill delete/chin spoiler and maybe see if you can get the 01-04 headlights if you don't want to smoke them out. I know the grill and spoiler have been on my wish list for a long time

Side note, can you really just cut an antenna to make it shorter? Lol. I'm sick of my big *** antenna.

And Joe, you might check out some colored plasti dip online, or something to add some more color if you don't want to murder it out. Coilovers on eBay cost like $80 and drop the car 2". Throw some flowmasters on it. Tint the windows to match the car. Or you could murder it out and grab some white vinyl for stripes and a rim frame. That'll throw something in there. Any time I see a black car I just wanna murder it out, man. That's all I've got. Hahahaha

Lowering helps, A LOT. You can cut your springs, it'll cost you $0, lol, just gotta have something to cut them with. And i'd do a billet grille or grille delete with the mach 1 lip. That should look amazing.

I like it man.

I heard cutting the springs makes for a rockier ride? Has anyone on this post done it, and if you have, what's it like?

Right here at AM. Just get the upper one, no need for the lower. Btw you get a 6% discount code after you reach 50 posts, but you have to pm one of the AM guys, Shane or Dan.

1slosix knows a LOT about this, the little i know is it does ride rougher, but there's not THAT much difference between cut springs and lowering springs.

Cut 1" off the front and 1 1/2" off the rear. This will lower your car 1.5" any lower and you will wish you never touched the car. Use a saw or grinder never a cutting torch.

Hmm alright, sounds good. I might try that, and if I **** something up (I tend to do that) I'll just grab the coilovers lol

As mentioned here before, 1slosix knows alot about v6 suspension.

I listened to his posts on cutting springs and cut my springs: 1.25 coils in front, 1 coil in back. No top or bottom isos on 4 corners, electric taped to prevent squeeks.

My rear shocks were shot so i bought 2 new KYB shocks for $33 from shockwarehouse

Yes ride quality is worse, but its not too bad. I don't really mind it. Could be cuz my struts aren't the best. ALSO, my suspension couldnt be aligned properly, needed camber bolts/castercamber plates to get the camber in spec (1.25 R 1.5 L camber).

I say cut the springs, it costs $0- maybe the cost of a dremel and some bits, as well
