I hit a pothole the other day when it was raining (because PA roads suck), and I'm guessing the result is this noise coming from the left front suspension. It's heard when the car is pressed down on, and when driving. Turning or straightening out makes no difference, the noise just comes up randomly and often. Also, the noise was not heard until a day or two after I hit the hole. I'm just guessing it may have been the pothole that caused it. I have a video, but I can't seem to find a way to post it?? The best I can describe the sound would be that it sounds like someone is hitting the exhaust pipe with a hammer.
Also, the front steering rack, ball joints, struts and strut mounts were all replaced within the last two months.
